Project Overview:

Our client is one of the most successful e-commerce companies in Europe - and Germany’s largest online retailer for furniture and home furnishing products. Taking it easy? – Not our thing! We are on our way and continue to develop our business model into a platform: In the future, the Client's online shop, technology, and customer access will be increasingly open to business partners – perhaps the most significant change for our client since the first steps towards e-commerce was taken in 1995.

We require Solid Vue.js experience, to develop web services backend applications.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with product owners and principal engineers to implement, test, and continually improve scalable Kotlin applications and services;
Take accountability for implementation and quality of software products as well as time and complexity estimation of own technical tasks;
Develop software products using Agile methods, tools, and continuous delivery process ( Kanban);
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and product demos;
Collaborate with other engineering teams to resolve dependencies and deliver high-quality software on time;
Participate in design reviews, code reviews of your work, and the work of your peer engineers;
An addition to the backend system: we currently have Node.js / TypeScript in use here. If we can find support here, the developer should at least be able to read the code. We want to gradually transition these components to Kotlin as capacity allows.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in software development;
Stong Vue.js skills;
Algorithmic knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills;
Understanding of unit testing concept and code quality;
Intermediate+ English level (verbal);
At least 1-year of experience with one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Project Tech stack:
- TypeScript, Vue.js;
- AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, SQS, S3, DynamoDB.
