We look for a seasoned IT leader to join Intellias in the role of Country Head for Bulgaria. The role will be responsible for setting up and running Intellias Delivery Center in Bulgaria with a focus on innovative software engineering projects in Automotive, FinTech, Telecom, and other company’s key industries, for clients in North America, Western Europe, and the Middle East. One of the key responsibilities will be shaping and executing Bulgaria's Delivery Center strategy in close collaboration with the company’s functional leaders and including such aspects as marketing, sales, talent management, delivery, and finance. We expect our Bulgaria Delivery Center to grow to 50-100 talents during 2022 and further expand to a size of 200-300 talents during 2023-2024.
- Build from the scratch new delivery center in Bulgaria, run end-to-end operational management;
- Help to create an IT service offering from Bulgaria for Global clients;
- Support Sales and Marketing teams focusing on business growth with account management, and business functions;
- Participate in business development activities, proactive contribution to the marketing strategy for the development center in Bulgaria;
- Leading most important presales where we promote our Delivery Center in Bulgaria ensuring favorable economic conditions to effectively run the business;
- Defining and managing risks for the Delivery Center in Bulgaria, monitoring the risks of the delivery center and delivery portfolio;
- Providing feedback to the company leadership on the state of affairs of a location, facilitating the execution of the company processes, escalating uncertainty cases;
- Hiring talents into Bulgaria Delivery Center using internal and external channels, making sure that externally and internally hired employees are onboarded into the Bulgaria Delivery Center in the most effective way, advocating and creating favorable conditions for professional growth of specialists in cooperation with Talent Development and Growth;
- Working closely with employee satisfaction (Pulse Survey) and retention indicators (E-RET), as well as handling employee performance issues, informing employees of a location about changes and the key company processes, maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for employees in the location (eNPS) jointly with Employee Experience;
- Following global Technology strategy and ensuring close cooperation with the Technology Office Centers of Excellence, and Project Management Office;
- Engaging new delivery teams to the location and expanding the existing ones by setting up their own functions, promoting the location among Delivery Directors and Business Development Managers, facilitating the cooperation with a new location;
- Promoting the company brand, taking part in local representative events in collaboration with Talent Marketing;
- Ensuring good working conditions and quality administrative services.
- Experience of working in the IT outsourcing industry 10+ years;
- Experience in leadership positions 5+ years;
- Experience in operational and general management;
- Experience in leading 100+ employees;
- Solid understanding of Bulgaria IT market;
- Solid understanding of Bulgaria laws and legal requirements;
- Thought leadership and good reputation on the market;
- Bulgarian citizenship.
Nice to have:
- Opening own company or office/branch of an international company in Bulgaria;
- Technical Background;
- Master's degree in Computer Science or similar;
- PMP Certification.
